Sin

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)

The Word of God teaches us that we are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. From the moment we are born into this world, we are not the children of God but we are, by nature, the children of wrath.

So what if we are sinners by nature?
"For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Sin cannot be overlooked by God because God is Holy and Righteous. God must and will punish sin. Yet in the cross of Christ we see how God can save, yet righteous be! Thank God for Calvary.

God hates sin but He loves the sinner and He sent His Only begotten Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;" (1 Timothy 1:15)
"The Lord...is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)

Listen to the words of the Lord Jesus Christ
"...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)

Hear the preaching of the Apostles
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out," (Acts 3:19)
